Flavor-changing top quark decays in R-parity-violating SUSY
The flavor changing top quark decays t → cV (V = Z, γ, g) induced by R-parity-violating couplings in the minimal supersymmetric model are evaluated. We find that Br(t → cV ) can be enhanced significantly relative to that in the SUSY model with R-parity. Our results show that Br(t → cg) ∼ 10, Br(t → cZ) ∼ 10 and Br(t → cγ) ∼ 10, which are observable at the upgraded Tevatron and the LHC. PACS: 14...
متن کاملFlavor-Changing Top Quark Decays In MSSM Without R-Parity
The flavor changing top quark decays t → cV (V = Z, γ, g) induced by R-parity-violating couplings in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) are evaluated. We find that the decays t → cV can be significantly enhanced relative to those in the R-parity conserving SUSY model. Our results show that the top quark FCNC decay can be as large as Br(t → cg) ∼ 10, Br(t → cZ) ∼ 10 and Br(t → cγ) ...
متن کاملSupersymmetric Three-body Decays of the Top Quark in the Mssm
We survey all possible supersymmetric three-body decays of the top quark in the framework of the MSSM and present detailed numerical analyses of the most relevant cases. Although the two-body channels are generally dominant, it is not inconceivable that some or all of our most favourite two-body SUSY candidates could be suppressed. In this event there is still the possibility that some of the a...
متن کاملR - parity violating decays of the Top - Quark and the Top - Squark at the Tevatron a
We study unconventional decays of the top-quark and the top-squark in the framework of SUSY models with broken R-parity. The model under study is the MSSM with an additional bilinear term that breaks R-parity. In this model the top-squark behaves similar to a third generation leptoquark. We demonstrate that existing Tevatron data on the top give rise to restrictions on the SUSY parameter space....
متن کاملRare Semileptonic Meson Decays in R-parity Violating Mssm
In the standard model (SM), lepton L and baryon B number conservation take place due to the accidental U(1)L ×U(1)B symmetry existing at the level of renormalizable operators. But, for many extensions of the SM, this is not the case. The well known mechanism of lepton number (LN) violation is based on the mixing of massive Majorana neutrinos predicted by various Grand unified theories (GUTs) [1...
